Weir’s Falls is 3.3 metres (11 feet) in height, and its crest measures 1 metre (3 feet). It is an overhang ribbon falls with a cascade at the top, and is located on a tributary of the Spring Creek in West Flamborough.
History
Weir’s Falls was “discovered” in Spring 2007 by Elizabeth Berestecki & Jody Tait, both of the Hamilton Conservation Authority, and Joe Hollick when they were out measuring and doing GPS locations on other waterfalls.
How to get there
Weir’s Falls is located on private property about 60 metres west of Weir’s Lane opposite the driveway to #178 in West Flamborough. It is visible from the roadway if water is flowing over.
