Sugar Shack Falls is located along the Escarpment Trail about 10 – 15 minutes from the RBG parking lot on Rock Chapel Road.
It is located at a stone bridge (see attached photo) that has been built over the creek and is a short distance past the maple syrup sugar shack that the RBG has there. It also is a 10 minute walk along Escarpment Trail (also Bruce Trail) from the end of Romar Rd. at top of Sydenham hill. Thus it is about half way between the Rock Chapel parking lot and the end of Romar Rd.
Crest Width is 13ft. Total Height is 29′ 3”. The main drop section is 15′ 5” with some cascades above and below.
This waterfall is dry most of the time, thus you have to visit it after a heavy rainfall or during the winter snow melt.
