Lower Sydenham Falls is a Classic Falls that experiences its strongest flow during seasonal storms and during the snow melt. It is 4 metres (13 feet) tall and the same distance in width, but can expand wider with ice in winter to 5.5 metres (18 feet)
It is located beside the Bruce Trail just west of Sydenham Road under the railway bridge that crosses the Sydenham Creek, and is the third waterfall on this creek.
The creek has been partially built up at this location to allow for the railway bridge construction, thus giving the partially manmade appearance to the waterfall.
