Another crazy warm winter brought us of to Sherman Falls for an illumination. There was no ice cave this year but the water was flowing and the trails were in decent shape.
Thanks to the volunteers – Jim, Gary, Jason, Chris, Robert and Bonnie for all of the help with the lights and collecting donations for the food bank. And special thanks to Kelly from CHCH news for bringing some more awareness to our group and making me look good on television.
And of course thanks to everyone that came out both in person and in spirit. As I was walking back to collect the lights, I heard a young lady say to a friend “I’m so glad we came out ….. have you ever seen something so beautiful?” – that made my night and all the hard work well worth it and it’s why we do what we do.
